Backup Manually:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nTo create a backup of your WordPress website manually, click on the Backup Now <\/em><\/strong>button from the Backup\/Restore page. <\/p>\n\n\n\nNote:<\/strong> You can either download the manual backup to your local server or let UpdraftPlus automatically upload it to a remote storage location. <\/p>\n\n\n\nScheduled Backups:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nIf you want to schedule auto backups with this plugin, you can then set your backup schedule under the Settings <\/em><\/strong>tab. UpdraftPlus allows you to create your automatic backup schedule to save yourself the trouble of remembering to backup manually. <\/p>\n\n\n\nFrom the provided drop-down menu, you can select how often to back up your files and database. For that, come back to the Settings <\/em><\/strong>tab and then click on the icon to select the remote storage option that you would like to use. <\/p>\n\n\n\nFor now, let’s select the Google Drive option. Once you select the Google Drive option, you can see a new section with a link to authenticate your account with the provider. Just leave it as it is for now. <\/p>\n\n\n\nNow, scroll down and select which files you want to include in your backup. <\/p>\n\n\n\nOn the next step, click the Save Changes<\/em><\/strong> button to proceed further. <\/p>\n\n\n\nOnce you click the Save Changes button, you will see a pop-up window that asks you to verify your account with the remote provider you selected. <\/p>\n\n\n\nTo complete the process, click on the link, and it will automatically open a new window asking you to fill in your account information. <\/p>\n\n\n\nOn the next screen, click the Complete setup<\/em><\/strong> button to complete authenticating your account. <\/p>\n\n\n\nThere you go!
